The STUD Magazine was engineered specifically for the EPIC II platform to provide increased capacity, smoother operation, easier loading, and exceptional feeding reliability with both pellets and slugs.
Designed from the ground up for today's slug shooters, the STUD Magazine stages, indexes, and feeds projectiles with outstanding consistency. The rotor extends close to the inside of the magazine lid, providing excellent support and control of projectiles up to 13 mm (0.512") in length. This design helps maintain proper projectile alignment throughout the indexing cycle for smooth, reliable operation.

Like all STUD magazines, the rotor rides on a precision sealed ball bearing for exceptionally smooth, low-friction rotation. As the magazine indexes, each projectile is positively guided into the exclusive STUD Pocket.
Located at the magazine's staging position, the STUD Pocket securely holds the next round to be fired in a precise, repeatable location. This ensures accurate alignment with both the centerline of the magazine and the EPIC II barrel before chambering.
By controlling projectile position at this critical point in the feeding cycle, the STUD Pocket promotes smooth loading, reliable feeding, and consistent shot-to-shot performance.
