STUD Magazine for - FX DRS (Mini Magazine)

  • The STUD magazine designed for the FX DRS isn’t just a compatible alternative to the factory magazine — it’s a complete reimagining built to solve the frustrations many users experience with the original.

The factory FX magazine is often criticized for being difficult to use, largely due to its awkward rotating latch that protrudes from the body. This latch makes it challenging to rotate the rotor and stage the first pellet. Worse, it obstructs the loading process, getting in the way as you try to drop pellets into place.

In contrast, the STUD magazine features a magnetically attached, easy-to-remove lid, providing a clean, flat surface for fast and effortless loading.

More than just user-friendly, this magazine is engineered specifically to stage, index, and feed both slugs and pellets into the DRS with precision and reliability.

Like all STUD magazines, it uses a central rotor riding on ultra-precise roller bearings, enabling smooth, frictionless rotation — a major upgrade over the factory version, which lacks ball bearings altogether. As the magazine indexes, you’ll feel the crisp engagement as each round locks into the STUD Pocket.

The STUD Pocket positions the projectile in what’s known as the "staking position", but with a critical advantage: it holds the round perfectly centered in alignment with both the magazine and the DRS barrel. This ensures optimal consistency and accuracy shot after shot.

Compare this to any non-STUD magazine: when a round is in the staking position, it often sits off-center and may even get slightly shaved as it enters the breech. With the STUD magazine, you’ll not only see the difference — you’ll feel it, as each slug glides cleanly and confidently into the barrel.

The STUD DRS magazine is compatable with the STUD Loader/Feeder System for easy loading in a semi automatic fashion.
