  • The new STUD Single Shot Loader  - Key Features

    1) Magnetic Self-Centering Alignment (No Mechanical Stops)

Unlike traditional loaders that rely on fixed stops, the STUD Single Shot Loader uses opposing magnetic fields to automatically center the chamber with the barrel.

Dual magnet sets in the base and rotating arm create a self-aligning system that:

    • Locks the chamber precisely on the barrel centerline
    • Maintains alignment even with debris (lead shavings, dust, etc.)
    • Eliminates tolerance stack-up and wear issues common in mechanical stop designs

The result: consistent, repeatable alignment with zero adjustment needed.

    2) Dual Oversized Precision Bearings

The rotating arm pivots on (2) 16mm sealed 2RS bearings, delivering:

    • Ultra-smooth “glass-like” rotation
    • Minimal resistance, allowing the magnetic system to self-center perfectly
    • Increased rigidity and resistance to deflection under load

Using two bearings (instead of one) provides superior stability and long-term durability.

    3) High-Stiffness Carbon-Filled Construction

Manufactured from 25% carbon-filled engineering polymer, the loader offers:

    • Exceptional stiffness and dimensional stability
    • Resistance to thermal expansion and warping
    • Long-term durability under repeated use

Both the base and arm feature a 50% cubic infill structure, creating a dense, reinforced internal geometry that resists twisting and maintains alignment under magnetic load.

    4) Optimized for SKOUT O-Ring Probe Design

The SKOUT probe system uses an O-ring mounted on the probe itself (rather than inside the barrel, as seen in designs like FX). This requires a larger entry clearance in magazines and single-shot loaders to allow the O-ring to pass through.

That larger clearance can reduce how well the pellet is centered during loading.

The STUD Single Shot Loader solves this with a dual-geometry chamber design:

    • An initial entry geometry allows the probe and O-ring to pass freely without interference
    • As the pellet is advanced, it is re-centered by three precision radial features, shaped to match the pellet skirt
    • This guides the pellet back onto the barrel centerline just before insertion

Result: improved alignment, reduced pellet deformation, and more consistent loading—specifically optimized for SKOUT platforms.
